Walk & Ride

Hit the trails and explore the San Saba River Nature Park. Multi-use paved trails wind through a canopy of mature Pecan Trees in this immersive nature park, perfect for walking, biking, and fishing. Stop at the Bird Watching observation platform nestled along the river on the 1.75 miles of paved trails.

Equipment: This trail is likely accessible for visitors using wheelchairs, mobility equipment, or strollers.

 

Parking: There are two paved parking lots - one located at the entrance to the park on Hwy 190 and one located on the west end of Risien park.

 

Surface: The trail surface is smooth concrete and is typically and is estimated to be gentle hike (3% grade or less).
